Agree: WHO Needs Updating Elmer G. Pinzon, MD, MPH Knoxville, Tennessee I agree that the outdated WHO pain ladder diagram (1986), although very beneficial in its day, is in need of some modifications, as proposed by Drs. Pergolizzi and Raffa.
