Heel Pain, maybe its plantar fasciitis?

From: edoughtery - 7 years 41 weeks ago

Ok, so when I first get up in the morning and get out of bed, there's this really sharp pain in my heel. Is that plantar fasciitis, do you think? It usually goes away, so I don't know how serious it, but I've been doing some research on my pain, and I really think its plantar fasciitis.

Do you find this discussion helpful?

Is this good advice?

I've never had plantar fascists, but it seems like something a podiatrist could help answer pretty quickly. Its funny my company had a health fair and one of the booths was a podiatrist who inspected your feet health. I never even considered that I should be looking at the health of my feet. Turns out I have a low arch and it may be contributing to my back and knee pain. Good luck and let us know what it was.
