Pregnancy Hormone used to treat Fibro

From: Diaz77 - 5 years 18 weeks ago

Has any heard of what the pregnancy hormone used to treat fibro? I ask because Feb 14th 2013 I gave birth to my 4th and final baby. Before getting pregnant I was dealing with life and my fibro. I was using medication to treat my day to day pain. When I found out I was pregnant I went off ALL medication. It was like hell on earth but I got through it. I wasn't going to take the risk. During my pregnancy I felt amazing.. I had almost no pain. 4-6 weeks after giving birth all my pain and fibro issues came back and worse then before. I found it interesting that I didn't hurt while pregnant so what is/was the hormone my body made that caused me to feel almost pain free???

Is this good advice?

It could be either HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) or progesterone levels were helping you. You should ask your physician to try you on progesterone replacement therapy at perhaps 100 mg nightly and see what happens. HCG is a whole different ballgame and I wouldn't even know where to begin on that.
