Looking for cancer pain relief, any help?

From: edoughtery - 7 years 41 weeks ago

My husband is going through chemotherapy, and he's in a lot of pain. It pains me to see him gonig through that, but we really don't know if he should have pain medications to deal with the pain. His body is already going through so much, so I'm interested to hear what other people here have done. Has the pain medicine really helped? Is it worth it? I feel like I have so many questions, but those are the most important ones. I just want to know if the medications will be worth it.

Chronic pain is the most horrific torture if not treated with opiate pain medication. By all means please end his suffering. Pain medication is a godsend for those of us who suffer on a daily basis with unrelenting pain that does not ease up unless we are in the care of an intractable pain care physician. My prayers are with you and your husband. I am a 20yr intractable pain patient and I can certainly sympathize.

Yes there are pain relievers in both generic and OTC, I am sure that will help your pain. Here you will find OTC at

You didn't say where you husband is experiencing the most pain. I'm going to guess it's in his feet and toes. That's called Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy.

There are numerous Customer Reviews raving about the success people are having with Reunion ISR not only for CIPN but anywhere.

I realize you posted this several years ago, but perhaps recent readers can benefit.

Good Luck.
