About Dragan Primorac, MD, PhD

Dragan Primorac, MD, PhD, serves as the president of the Board of Trustees at the St. Catherine Hospital in Zagreb, Croatia. He is a professor of forensic genetics at the Pennsylvania State University and University of New Haven, in the United States, a professor of pediatric medicine at Universities of Split, Rijeka and Osijek, in Croatia. Dr. Primorac has authored nearly 200 scientific papers and abstracts in pain medicine, genetics, and personalized medicine. He is the current team leader of the Croatian partner in the international consortium within the EU FP7 project entitled “Multi-dimensional OMICS approach to stratification of patients with low back pain” and president of the International Society of Applied Biological Sciences, the Croatian Society for Human Genetics, the Croatian Society for Personalized (Precision) Medicine, and the Croatian and Cluster of Competitiveness for Personalized Medicine. Dr. Primorac discloses that he is on the Advisory Board of OneOme, LLC.
