About Victoria Abbott-Fleming

Victoria Abbott-Fleming is the founder of UK-based CRPS awareness charity Burning Nights. She was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) almost 15 years ago and has had both legs amputated due to the development of open ulcers. She founded Burning Nights as she wanted to set up a support group for people with CRPS and other chronic illnesses. The charity regularly holds fundraisers with the intention of promoting awareness of CRPS and providing a supportive community for people living with the condition.

She frequently cites the Spoon Theory in her work and it is something with which she resonates. She regularly uses it as a mechanism for planning her daily activities.
