About Gordon D. Ko, MD, PhD, FRCPC

Dr. Ko has board certification in Physiatry [Canadian & American], Family & Emergency Medicine [Canadian], Naturopathic Medicine [ANMA], Independent Medical Examinations [ABIME] and Pain Medicine [Subspecialty ABPM]. He currently serves as a Clinical Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, and as Medical Director of the Fibromyalgia Functional Medicine clinic at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Canadian Centre for Integrative Medicine. 

Dr. Ko is an active member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and serves as executive director for the Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine. Dr. Ko has lectured extensively to professional and lay public groups. Topics range from "Overcoming Pain, Fatigue and Stress at your workplace" to "Alternative Medicine overview: what the public wants and what physicians think...". He has lectured for Fibromyalgia support groups "Newer approaches in treating Fibromyalgia". Talks for physicians have included "Emerging options for chronic pain: opioids, cannabionoids, tizanidine, pregabalin and topical medications".

Dr. Ko's clinical focus is on electrodiagnosis and Botox/prolotherapy treatment of chronic pain, particularly back pain, fibromyalgia, failed surgery, regenerative medicine, and myofascial/neuropathic pain syndromes.
