About Jeremy A. Adler, DMSc, PA-C, DFAAPA

Jeremy A. Adler, DMSc, PA-C, DFAAPA has practiced in the specialty of pain management for over 20 years and is a partner and chief operating officer at Pacific Pain Medicine Consultants in Encinitas, CA.  He has earned a doctorate in medical science from the University of Lynchburg and a masters’ degree specializing in pain management/physical medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Adler’s physican assistant degree was granted by the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow from the American Academy of Physican Assistants (PAs) and is a recipient of the Pride of the Profession awarded by the California Academy of PAs.

Dr. Adler has been an active advocate for appropriate pain care for all patients.  He is a published author and lectures regionally and nationally on a variety of pain topics. He has co-authored evidence-based clinical practice guidelines on opioids and urine drug monitoring.

In addition to patient care and medical education, Dr. Adler has participated in healthcare leadership.  He founded the San Diego Society of PAs and functioned as the President of the Society for 10 years. He has served as president for one of the largest state PA professional societies in the county, the California Academy of PAs, and currently, is a task force chair.  He is vice-Ppesident of the Pain Medicine Special Interest Group at the American Academy of PAs and is a board member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM) Foundation.
