About Gary Solomon, PhD

Gary Solomon, PhD, is a professor of neurological surgery, associate professor of orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation, and of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, as well as co-director of the Vanderbilt Sports Concussion Center at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. Practicing since 1984, he is the team neuropsychologist for the Nashville Predators and the consulting neuropsychologist for the Tennessee Titans, as well as for the athletic departments at several universities. He was a member of the Observer Group of the Concussion in Sport Group 5, and is a member of several editorial boards. Dr. Solomon is a fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and has published more than 70 papers on sport-related concussion.
