About Michael Bottros, MD

Michael Bottros, MD, is an assistant professor in Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the founding Director of the Acute Pain Service at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.  His clinical interests include acute perioperative as well as chronic pain management.

Dr. Bottros received his AB from Washington University School of Medicine, where he also completed his medical degree.  He finished a residency in anesthesiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where he was appointed chief resisdent. He subsequently pursued a fellowship in interventional pain management at Johns Hopkins University.
