About Rup Tandan, MD, FRCP

Rup Tandan, MD, FRCP, is a professor of neurology and vice chair of clinical affairs for the College of Medicine at the University of Vermont in Burlington. He received a medical degree from King George’s Medical College at the University of Lucknow in India. Dr. Tandan’s areas of interest include clinical management of neuromuscular diseases, novel therapeutic approaches to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), clinical trials and new drug development in neuropathies, and the prognostic role of nutritional compromise and respiratory function in ALS.
